Bringing Christians together in a three-day spiritual renewal weekend. Cum Christo is about the rest of your life!

Cum Christo emerged from the Catholic Cursillo Movement which started in 1964, and shortly thereafter (1970), welcomed men and women from Protestant faiths to participate in the movement.

The weekend consists of a series of talks given by lay-people and Catholic and Protestant clergy on such topics as Grace, Church, Piety, Study and Christian Community in Action. Each talk is followed by prayer, reflection and discussion. There is a Catholic Mass and a Protestant service each weekend.

UPDATE from the Lay Director:

May 28, 2020 …Having talked with our Fall Weekend Rectors, who had discussions with their teams’ Spiritual Directors, it became apparent that they did not feel that the situation would improve to the level where they would feel safe enough to participate. Having discussed this situation with Leader School, they felt that the spirit of the weekend would be negatively impacted by following the current recommendations of the C.D.C. It would be as if we were providing candidates a WEEKEND LITE version. Additionally, after discussing the current situation with the Business Manager at St. James the Less, I was told that the Ministry Center would not be available for the rest of the year in response to the Pandemic. Like it or not, the circumstances are against us through the end of 2020.
